In a significant development aimed at bolstering international relations, the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, reached out to Tharman Shanmugaratnam with a written message. The message was formally conveyed by Qatar’s Ambassador to Singapore, HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki. The ambassador met with Jeevan Singh, who serves as the Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia Directorate at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to deliver the message personally.
