In recent discussions, Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, engaged in separate phone calls with Lebanon’s Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Tarek Mitri, and Mali’s Foreign Minister, Abdoulaye Diop, to address bilateral relations and regional issues. During his conversation with Dr. Mitri, Al Khulaifi strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, highlighting the escalation of ground operations in southern Lebanon, which have significantly impacted civilians. He characterized these actions as violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and breaches of international law, warning that these developments pose a threat to regional security and stability. In his separate discussion with Mali’s Foreign Minister, Abdoulaye Diop, Al Khulaifi explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Mali. The dialogue also covered the latest developments in the African Sahel region, reflecting Qatar’s commitment to supporting stability and security in Mali.
